Be the CHANGE.

Now! On to our vision! So the two year "around the world" track that we are doing has some pretty straight forward direction I would like to share with you. We are convinced we need to be the voice of change in many areas of injustice around the world. The main issue we have been exposing and are trying to eradicate is the biggest and dirtiest secret of the world. It is human trafficking...in layman's words: MODERN DAY SLAVERY. Slated to be the most lucrative criminal activity in the world in the next couple of years, it has surpassed drug trafficking in yearly revenue! Over 1.2 million children are trafficked in the world...EACH YEAR. Out of these, over 75% are sexually exploited (child prostitutes).

We can make a difference though! And that is exactly what we are going to do! We have 30 main injustices that we want to see wiped off of the earth...these include: Slavery, Trafficking, Child Prostitution,  Rape, Infanticide, Honor Killings, AIDS, Female Genital Mutilation, etc etc...

During our two year track around the world, we will gather information, meet the people who live in injustice every day of the year, and then raise awareness in the western world through our tours and publications. The goal of this years track is to set up models for change in all thirty issues we address... This CAN be accomplished! But not without your support and help! 

True story:

Jeanette and I need 10,000 dollars by thursday, April 30th. We had used all of our funds to bring us where we are now, and had a little bit saved to go towards our outreach. However, that little bit was only about 1/8 of what we needed...and no money was coming in. So, we asked God what we should do....and He told us. Give away the money you have to someone who needs it more than you do. Now, I know this was God because I never would have had that thought...So God gave us a person to give it to...and we did. So, here we are, sitting in a place far away from home, and God tells us to give away the money, it wasn't us....it was God...let's be clear on that. Two days later (Monday, April 27th) we receive a blank envelope in our inbox on base. It has a piece of paper inside that reads: But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given for you as well. Along with the note, there was $2,025 dollars cash. That's God. That's what it looks like when we ARE the change we pray for...and we were SOOOO blessed! So we planted a seed when God asked, and in helping another, God blessed us. That is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me....but that's probably because this is the first true time I have been acting on true faith. I am elated. SO! I say that to bless you, and I hope it encourages you to hold your possessions loosely, because you never know when He is going to ask you to follow Him. His disciples were fishing, busy in their mid day work....and the difference between them and a lot of us is: they followed.

Anyways, like you probably realize, we need around 6-7,000 dollars by Thursday...which sounds like alot, but yesterday it was 10,000! So I guess you can start calling me an optimist!
